The cycle is the same every year: Overindulge at the holiday table, and then try to repent the next day by overindulging in exercise.
Guilty as charged.
I’ll be looking for opportunities to jump on the bike to shake off the post-holiday excesses, but if the weather is too uncomfortably cold – and in lieu of enough snow to cross-country ski or snowshoe -hiking becomes my Plan B.
