Upper crust enclave gets the bakery it deserves

Photo of croissants at BreadsNBakes in Scotts Corners, from the bakery's website.

Scotts Corners in the Westchester County town of Pound Ridge has become a destination for visitors, and BreadsNBakes is one reason why. Devotees queue up outside the bakery waiting for the fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and other European treats coming out of the oven.

Here’s my profile of Jason and Dawn Bowman, who are establishing a mini-empire of fine food establishments now that they’ve reopened the Barn at Bedford Post Inn.

  1. Good story about a culinary start-up in Scotts Corners that makes me start to salivate!! I hope to sample their creations in the future. Thanks for bringing them to light in entertaining fashion.
