A Mother’s Escape from the Nazis, a Son’s Dedication

He grew up to be a concert pianist, dedicating his life to honoring his mother and following in the footsteps of the uncle he never knew.

“The enormity of the Holocaust, you can’t really take it in, but if you focus on just a few people, regular people who were caught in this terrible web, it really affects people,” pianist-producer-director-filmmaker Roger Peltzman told me.
